New SuperSonic MACH 20 ultrasound system designed to optimize costs while improving outcomes

Hologic, Inc. announced the expansion of its ultrasound portfolio with the launch of the new SuperSonic MACH 20 ultrasound system

January 29, 2021— Hologic, Inc. announced the expansion of its ultrasound portfolio with the launch of the new SuperSonic MACH 20 ultrasound system. Hologic now offers three tiers ofultrasound technology, ensuring more facilities have access to customized ultrasound solutions to address their unique imaging needs. Each of the systems is designed to increase efficiency and diagnostic accuracy, features exceptional image quality and innovative imaging modes, and offers an intuitive user experience.

The latest addition to Hologic’s ultrasound portfolio, the SuperSonic MACH 20 ultrasound system, provides added clinical value for general and specialty ultrasound imaging, including of the breast, liver, muscles, and tendons. It features excellent B-mode image quality and runs on the same UltraFast imaging technology that powers Hologic’s full line ofSuperSonic ultrasound systems, allowing users to perform dynamic tissue stiffness evaluation withShearWave PLUSelastography. Radiologists and sonographers also enjoy an intuitive, ergonomic user experience thanks to theSonicPadtouchpad, which is designed to reduce examination time and operator fatigue and injury.
