AIMedwas created with the purpose of advancing data science and artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine around the world. The organization hosts numerous in person and digitaleventsthroughout the year to discuss the advancement of AI in medicine. AIMed was created byAnthony Chang, M.D., MPH, MS, MBA, who also is the director of theMedical Intelligence and Innovation Institute (MI3), which is based at the Children's Hospital of Orange County, Calif. MI3 is funded by the Sharon Disney Lund Foundation with the purpose of advancing data science and artificial intelligence in medicine around the world.
