Chicago, Here We Come!

The in-person 2021Healthcare Information Management Systems Society(HIMSS) meeting in August was the first glimmer of the light at the end of a long tunnel in theCOVID-19pandemic a few months ago — the industry’s first sign that things were starting to return to normal. It only seemed fitting that this was the first large-scale medical meeting in over a year, since it was the first large conference to cancel just days before it was to begin in 2020 due to the onset of the pandemic.

This theme will be kicked off in the opening session, held in Arie Crown Theater at McCormick Place on Sunday, November 28, at 4 p.m. CT, when Mahoney andJames Merlino, M.D., discuss the new ideas and technologies that are redefining what it means to be a radiologist today. With more than 2,000 presenters, a multitude of science, education and CME opportunities, and a plenary program that highlights timely topics in radiology, RSNA 2021 will showcase the new ideas and technologies that are redefining the future of the field.
