Speakers:

Carol Morrisseyis the Philips Healthcare clinical services design lead for enterprise operational informatics (EOI). She has extensive healthcare and clinical setting experience. She drives operational improvement projects, provides guidance to her solution advisor team and supports with new product or solution development. Prior to taking the leadership role within EOI, Carol was a solution advisor within the EOI, helping customers seek out improvement opportunities, such as increased imaging asset utilization, improved competencies of staff, scheduling efficiency, upgrade and replacement options, and imaging appropriateness. Carol has worked across a broad range of clinical healthcare roles in ultrasound and radiology. With more than 25 years of medical imaging and radiology operations experience Carol brings an insightful and customer-focused perspective to clinical service design and implementations.

Carlos Arellano, M.D.,MBA, is senior administrative director for radiology, perioperative services and otolaryngologyAs part of his role, Carlos oversees 300+ hospital staff in and is responsible for the professional component for Radiology and Otolaryngology. Carlos received his M.D. from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City and his MBA from Boston University. Over the last six years at Boston Medical Center, Carlos has been able to leverage his medical and operations backgrounds to work on process improvement initiatives across the hospital. He has particular interest in utilizing data to optimize patient flow, access to care and patient experience.
